Report design that already speaks the frameworks.

Reportory designs sustainability, ESG and impact reports — the crafted editorial layer on top of serious disclosure.

GRI content indexes, ESRS datapoints, double-materiality matrices and TCFD structures aren't things you'll need to explain. They're the material the pages are built from.

Framework fluency

Design decisions grounded in the standards your report answers to.

A framework-literate designer protects the disclosure while elevating the page: nothing gets "designed away," and nothing reads like a spreadsheet dumped into a layout.

GRI Standards

Content indexes that work as navigation

The GRI content index is the most-used and worst-designed table in reporting. Reportory builds it as a genuine wayfinding system — typographically clean, cross-referenced, assurance-ready.

ESRS / CSRD

Structure for the EU disclosure era

Layouts organized by ESRS topical standards, datapoint tables designed for auditability, and double-materiality matrices turned into honest, legible graphics — not decorative bubbles.

ISSB · IFRS S1/S2 · TCFD

Investor-grade climate disclosure

Governance–strategy–risk–metrics architecture expressed in the document's hierarchy, with scenario and transition-plan graphics that respect the underlying data.

Workiva-linked workflow

Design outside the platform, integrity inside it

InDesign linked to your Workiva environment: approved content flows out, the crafted PDF flows back, audit trail and tagging untouched — editorial quality the platform itself can't deliver.

Impact & SDG reporting

Stories that survive scrutiny

Impact studies and SDG-mapped narratives for mission-driven organizations — designed to persuade funders without drifting into greenwash aesthetics.

Accessibility · EAA / PDF-UA

Reports everyone can read

Tagged, WCAG-conscious PDFs with logical reading order and figure alt text — increasingly a compliance requirement in the EU, and always the right call.

Selected work

Six disclosure realities. One constant.

A small sample from hundreds of reports designed: a first-time SDG reporter, an NGO benchmark study, GRI/SASB extractives reporting, a VSME voluntary adopter, a digital-first double-materiality report, and a fully ESRS-coded 165-page statement. The constant: design that serves the writing and protects the disclosure.

Floward — 2024 Sustainability Report

First reportUN SDGsE-commerce · GCC

A first-time reporter with a strong consumer brand: the challenge was making an ESG debut feel credible without losing the warmth of a flowers-and-gifting company. An elegant serif system in deep teal and blush, a world map composed of real blooms, and SDG-alignment panels anchoring every chapter — the brand tells the story, the framework carries it.

WWF — Getting Underway: 2025 Seafood Investment Assessment

NGO benchmarkTNFDSustainable finance

A dense analytical assessment of 42 asset managers' seafood-related E&S practices — thousands of words, dozens of indicators, zero tolerance for spin. Design's job was pacing and legibility: disciplined hierarchy for long-form argument, dark data spreads that make scoring changes and TNFD adoption instantly readable, and ocean photography that lets a technical report breathe.

Hofseth — 2024 Sustainability Report

VSME / EFRAGGHG Scopes 1–3Aquaculture · Norway

A wide-format report that treats disclosure as storytelling: a custom-illustrated seven-stage salmon value chain, a mapped spotlight of Storfjorden farming operations, and emissions intensity reported down to CO₂e per kilogram of fish — closing with a VSME/EFRAG appendix. HBC — 2023 Sustainability Report

Double materialityDigital-first · 16:10Marine biotech

A science-led company needed its report to read on screens, where it's actually consumed. A 16:10 digital-first format with a double-materiality overview, an ESG-governance diagram, and — the page ESG writers appreciate most — a visual explanation of economically allocating GHG footprint to salmon off-cuts, turning the hardest Scope 3 concept into a pair of legible donut charts.

Rudholm Group — Sustainability Document 2024

ESRS / CSRDDigital Product PassportsTextile · 165 pp

The deep end of the new EU disclosure era: 165 pages structured entirely around ESRS, every page title carrying its disclosure code — from GOV-1 to E5-5. Design built the apparatus that makes that navigable: a linked disclosure index, a double-materiality matrix mapping 38 topics, and site-level emission tables with data-gap disclosures. When the manuscript is a compliance instrument, design becomes its user interface.

For ESG writers & consultancies

You own the words and the client. Reportory makes the copy land on the page.

Reportory works as a referral and white-label design partner to independent sustainability writers, ESG copywriters and boutique consultancies.

No education tax

Your client's framework is already spoken here. Handoffs are writer-shaped: structured manuscript in, defined terms kept intact, layout-driven copy issues flagged instead of silently "fixed."

Pitch bigger, together

A coordinated writer + designer unit can credibly take on full-report engagements that otherwise default to large agencies — and split the work along clean professional lines.

Authorship integrity

No-AI-authorship clauses and client confidentiality requirements are respected. Your byline, your voice, your client relationship — always.

How a project runs

A tidy handoff, start to finish.

  1. Flatplan

Manuscript → page-by-page structure: pacing, extent, visual spreads, signature-friendly page count.

  2. Style system

Brand guidelines → full report type hierarchy, grid, chart and table system before a single page is laid out.

  3. Layout & data design

InDesign build; charts redrawn from source data with takeaway headlines, not decoration.

  4. QA & delivery

Consistency pass (numbers, cross-references, terminology), print preflight or accessible tagged PDF.
