A first-time reporter with a strong consumer brand: the challenge was making an ESG debut feel credible without losing the warmth of a flowers-and-gifting company. An elegant serif system in deep teal and blush, a world map composed of real blooms, and SDG-alignment panels anchoring every chapter — the brand tells the story, the framework carries it.

A dense analytical assessment of 42 asset managers' seafood-related E&S practices — thousands of words, dozens of indicators, zero tolerance for spin. Design's job was pacing and legibility: disciplined hierarchy for long-form argument, dark data spreads that make scoring changes and TNFD adoption instantly readable, and ocean photography that lets a technical report breathe.

A wide-format report that treats disclosure as storytelling: a custom-illustrated seven-stage salmon value chain, a mapped spotlight of Storfjorden farming operations, and emissions intensity reported down to CO₂e per kilogram of fish — closing with a VSME/EFRAG appendix. A science-led company needed its report to read on screens, where it's actually consumed. A 16:10 digital-first format with a double-materiality overview, an ESG-governance diagram, and — the page ESG writers appreciate most — a visual explanation of economically allocating GHG footprint to salmon off-cuts, turning the hardest Scope 3 concept into a pair of legible donut charts.

The deep end of the new EU disclosure era: 165 pages structured entirely around ESRS, every page title carrying its disclosure code — from GOV-1 to E5-5. Design built the apparatus that makes that navigable: a linked disclosure index, a double-materiality matrix mapping 38 topics, and site-level emission tables with data-gap disclosures. When the manuscript is a compliance instrument, design becomes its user interface.

Not a brochure — a bylaw. An Official Community Plan has to survive a public hearing, be adopted by Council, then be cited clause by clause for twenty years by planners, developers and residents who each want something different from it. Six guiding principles became coloured chips that index every policy in the book; each numbered section opens on a photograph of the place it governs; and the two statutory land-use maps were designed as spreads in their own right, because those are the pages most often consulted alone.

An audit of a professional society's entire publishing programme arrives as a research manuscript — four separate studies, a great deal of statistical apparatus, and three audiences who each stop in a different place. The design problem was navigation and tone: make the findings legible and quotable without softening what the numbers say. The executive summary was rebuilt as cards, a single blue at different strengths carries all 42 figures so no chart competes with a section opener, and the appendices were set to be printed and pinned, not read once.

A sourcing consultancy's case that Viet Nam should be assessed as a manufacturing destination in its own right, not as a hedge against China — made in sixteen pages, to supply-chain executives reading on a phone between meetings. Full-bleed navy openers alternate with light text pages, so the argument's five moves are visible before a word is read. A single warm orange does all the data work — every bar, arrow, node and country fill — which means no chart needs a key beyond its labels.
