Nine ingredients, five questions, one view.
A feed-industry think tank assesses nine emerging proteins and oils for dog and cat food across five domains: supply, current adoption, sustainability, nutrition and health, and consumer acceptance. Twenty-seven tables and nine figures of contested evidence had to serve a sourcing lead comparing all nine ingredients and a formulator interested in only one.
The design responseEach ingredient receives a colour and a drawn icon in the definitions table, then keeps them everywhere: in the edge tabs, the assessment bands, the production cards and the chapter-opener icon row. A three-step recommendation framework, drawn as a filled-dot meter, states every verdict, and range bars with every individual study plotted keep the uncertainty visible in the charts.
